The Longtail Hybrid is a tough, versatile urban load-lugger. The 800Wh battery and powerful Bosch Cargo Line motor working in conjunction with Shimano Cues 11-speed gears mean it's got the grunt you need to get a total load of up to 200kg across town - and beyond - with ease and in complete comfort. We designed it to fit most riders quickly and easily, with a telescopic seatpost and Speedlifter stem. There's a sturdy twin-leg kickstand, for easy parking. Front and rear lights so you can see and be seen, 24/7. Magura Gustav Pro hydraulic disc brakes for safe stopping, rain or shine. And optional accessories include a rear rack extender, child seat with foot rests and safety guard, and a front carrier that will accept a matching bag or basket, both with HIC, so you can tailor your Longtail to suit your needs exactly.
Frame description
Our cargo-carrying Longtail Hybrid is built with practicality in mind. Powered by Bosch's capable and smooth Cargo Line motor and 800Wh battery, it's designed to handle a load of up to 200kg in total. A weight of 60kg can be carried on the sturdy, extended rear carrier, which can accept two standard pannier bags per side and features elastomer suspension. There's even a lockable storage compartment for smaller items in the down tube. Need more load-carrying versatility? No problem. Optional accessories include an extension to allow the fitting of a standard Eurobox, a headset-mounted front carrier and a down-tube carrier. Whatever you need to carry and wherever you need to carry it to, the Longtail Hybrid will help you get it there.

Why should you cycle to work?

How does it work?
In essence, your employer buys a bike for you to ride to work and you ‘hire’ it through salary sacrifice (which is where you save by not paying tax and National Insurance contributions on the monthly fees). At the end of the ‘hire’ period, you are usually offered the option to buy the bike from your employer.
Due to the way cycle schemes operate, we charge an admin fee to cover the part of the fees that the scheme incurs for us to provide them. The admin fee is based on the total value quoted for your bike and any accessories. The admin fee is subsidised by us so you're not paying for the total cost of the scheme, just a small percentage.
If the bike is on sale then it is up to the manager's discretion whether there will be an admin fee applicable.
Green Commute Initiative
There is no admin fee when using Green Commute Initiative. If your company hasn't picked a scheme yet, we recommend using this cycle scheme.

For all other cycle schemes we charge a 10% admin fee. E.G you want a bike that costs £1000, we will charge you a £100 deposit to hold the bike while your voucher is arranged. Your voucher will still need to be for £1000. For sale priced bikes this will differ, please contact us to find out more.
