With its rugged go-anywhere capability and 800Wh battery, there's not much that can hold the Reaction Hybrid Race back. It's even PowerMore-ready, so you can add an optional extra 250Wh battery for even more range. The Smart System-equipped Bosch CX drive has the power to make any route easier, and Sram Transmission 90 12-speed gears put the right ratio literally at your fingertips. We chose wide, grippy Schwalbe 2.6in tyres and paired them with an air-sprung Rockshox Recon Silver fork for the best blend of comfort and control. With strong 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, you're assured of safe and predictable stopping in any conditions. And there's a dropper post, too, so you can take the path less travelled, and see where it leads.
Frame description
The Reaction Hybrid's neat and tidy design is no accident. With the 800Wh PowerTube battery neatly concealed and the Bosch CX drive housed securely, its svelte lines disguise lots of clever features. It's PowerMore-ready, making it easy to add up to 250Wh of extra battery capacity. The integrated seat clamp and cable routing complement the clean aesthetic. There's a pre-installed chain guide, and it's ready to accept ACID mudguards and a luggage carrier... plus, with X-Connect, adding a compatible ACID front light is as simple as plugging it into the headset. Why should you cycle to work?
Commuting by bike has many benefits including reducing your carbon footprint, improving your fitness and saving you money. With the rising cost of fuel, countless road works and congestion, there's never been a better time to start commuting by bike. How does it work?
In essence, your employer buys a bike for you to ride to work and you ‘hire’ it through salary sacrifice (which is where you save by not paying tax and National Insurance contributions on the monthly fees). At the end of the ‘hire’ period, you are usually offered the option to buy the bike from your employer.
Due to the way cycle schemes operate, we charge an admin fee to cover the part of the fees that the scheme incurs for us to provide them. The admin fee is based on the total value quoted for your bike and any accessories. The admin fee is subsidised by us so you're not paying for the total cost of the scheme, just a small percentage.
If the bike is on sale then it is up to the manager's discretion whether there will be an admin fee applicable.
Green Commute Initiative
There is no admin fee when using Green Commute Initiative. If your company hasn't picked a scheme yet, we recommend using this cycle scheme.

For all other cycle schemes we charge a 10% admin fee. E.G you want a bike that costs £1000, we will charge you a £100 deposit to hold the bike while your voucher is arranged. Your voucher will still need to be for £1000. For sale priced bikes this will differ, please contact us to find out more.
