Sean – our Head of Sales and owner of The Ark Cycles, was lucky enough to test ride this beauty in the Forest of Dean.
First Ride Impressions
Sean was lucky enough to get early saddle time on the new Shuttle LT in the legendary Forest of Dean, a proving ground known for its fast flow, chunky roots, technical climbs and steep, demanding descents. Having spent significant time on the previous-generation Shuttle LT, Sean was perfectly placed to compare the two.
His verdict? Completely blown away.

The new Shuttle LT channels chaos and control through a long-travel chassis shaped by the cutting edge of modern enduro design. It’s unleashed, electrified and honed to perfection.
Power Meets Precision
At the heart of the Shuttle LT is Bosch’s Performance Line CX and CX-R drive systems, delivering up to 400% assistance and a massive 100Nm of torque. Paired with a huge 800Wh removable battery, this is a full-power e-MTB built to conquer the steep, the fast and the wild.
On the climbs, Sean found the Shuttle LT planted, composed and incredibly efficient, with Pivot’s legendary dw-link suspension translating every watt of input into smooth, forward momentum. Even on loose, rooty technical climbs, traction was outstanding, letting him clean sections that usually demand full focus and precision.
Point it downhill and the Shuttle LT truly comes alive.
With 162mm of rear travel and 170mm up front, it delivers the kind of ride feel that defines Pivot’s long-travel pedigree: stable at speed, calm when things get steep, and remarkably controlled through rough terrain. Roots, rock gardens and blown-out chutes were swallowed effortlessly, allowing Sean to focus purely on line choice and speed.
Compared to the previous Shuttle LT, the new version feels more planted, more predictable and more capable when pushed hard. It inspires confidence at pace, encouraging you to ride faster, harder and deeper into technical terrain.
Adjustable Geometry – Built for Every Rider
One of the standout features of the new Shuttle LT is just how tunable it is.
Pivot’s all-new patent-pending Slacky McSteepTube system allows riders to adjust the seat tube angle to suit terrain, riding style and personal preference. Whether you want a steeper climbing position or a slacker, more aggressive downhill stance, the Shuttle LT adapts to you.

After riding the new Shuttle LT back-to-back with the previous generation, Sean summed it up perfectly:
