A bike fit manages the forces of cycling in the easiest and most efficient ways possible. We will put force into the areas of the body that are most capable of dealing with them and avoid putting forces into areas that struggle to cope with them. Anyone can benefit from a bike fit from an absolute beginner to a seasoned pro. Just because you don't feel pain while cycling doesn't mean you're in the most optimal position!
There's more to bike sizing then just your overall height. We always recommend coming into store so you can sit on different sizes and experience how different frame shapes, wheel sizes and other variables effect your bike fit. However, size guides do offer a good starting point so below you'll find guides to the various makes and models we stock.
We stock a wide range of cycling clothing here at The Ark from brands like Castelli, Endura, Specialized and 100%. Size guides are a great starting point to find the right size but we believe there's no better way to buy clothing then trying it on in store where you can get a proper feel for the materials, weight and cut.
